A few answers to some questions we get asked.....

RATES:
Rates are based on double occupancy and do not include taxes and fees. Additional overnight guests may be added at a rate of $20/person/night for any person over the age of 2 years.

DAY GUESTS:
Each rental may have a maximum of 2 day guests on any given day. Prior approval is required and each day guest is charged a fee of $10/person.

DEPOSIT:
Your reservation is confirmed with a 50% deposit. The balance of your reservation will be collected upon arrival. One night stays require full payment at time of booking.

MINIMUM NIGHT STAYS:
A Two night minimum stay is required for all stays unless prior arrangements have been made or our calendar opens for shorter stay.

Three Night minimum stays are required for all major Holidays, Lavendar Festival and may apply to select weekends.

CANCELLATION
By accepting a reservation, you agree that there is a $50.00 cancellation or change of reservation fee up until 14 days prior to your arrival. If you cancel or change your reservation within 14 days of your arrival, you will be responsible for your entire stay and your credit card will be charged.

Multi-cabin and Holiday rentals require 30 days advance notice and are subject to the same requirements.

CHANGE OF RESERVATION:
Sometimes it is necessary to change the dates of your reservation. We totally get it.  We try to accommodate changes as best we can when dates are available. The sooner you can let us know - the better.  A request to change dates must be at least 2 weeks prior to beginning of reservation and will incur a $35 charge.

CHECK IN / CHECK OUT:
We have designed our check in process to allow your arrival anytime after 3:30pm. Simply stop at our office, fill out and sign your check in slip and proceed to your cabin with the map provided. See Early Arrival information if you think you might arrive realy.

Check out is 11am. We ask the heaters and lights be turned off and garbage removed to our trash receptacle upon departure.

EARLY ARRIVALS/ LATE DEPARTURES:
May be added to the reservation at least 1 day prior to arrival for $35 fee on first come first serve basis. Request must be made by phone or email at least one day in advance. If you have not requested an early check in and STILL arrive early (anytime before 3:30pm) you may not access the rental unless you have been formally checked in by staff. An early check in fee will automatically be added to your reservation if check in is available.

SPECIALS
Specials includes 2 people, 2 night minimum (unless noted otherwise) and are subject to tax/fees. Specials exclude Holidays and Local Event happenings.

Additional FEES:
At Sunset Marine Resort - we provide just about everything you need, including Free WIFI, fully stocked kitchens, all linens and bathroom towels. In addition to your standard cabin rental charge, there are standard charges like a one-time cabin cleaning fee, a charge if you request cleaning during your stay and a fee for pets.
An additional cleaning fee may also be charged if pets urinate on carpet, furnishings or linens. In some cases, the fee may be more than $50 if professional cleaning devices are required in order to restore cabin to proper condition immediately, prior to arrival of new guests.

PETS:
A maximum of 2 pets are allowed per cabin unless prior arragnements have been made for additional pets.  We love ours - so we are open to families with more furry, fuzzy kiddos. Our pet fee is $20/pet/night.

NO SMOKING POLICY:
All of our cabins are NON SMOKING cabins. Any persons in violation of this policy will be asked to leave. Fumigation fees of minimum $350.00 will be charged and your deposit and balance will not be refunded. Smoking is only permitted outside, 25' from any building structure. Our beach and fire pits are not acceptable receptacles for cigarette butts – please bring your own ashtrays.

RESPONSIBILITY
We strive to provide a safe place for guests to enjoy, and likewise reserve the right to make decisions that may be necessary to protect the property and safety of our guests.
